Atlas Filtri GA 10 SX 10 μm is a granular water filter cartridge made of quartz sand compound, designed for the effective removal of suspended solids such as soil, rust, sediments and microparticles. The inner core is manufactured from polypropylene, while the filter is non-toxic and fully suitable for drinking water applications. It delivers a water flow rate of up to 1,000 litres per hour and operates at a maximum temperature of 45°C. For proper maintenance, the cartridge should be externally rinsed every 2–3 months, with complete replacement recommended every 2–3 years. It is compatible with Atlas Filtri Senior 3P filter housings. Microns (μm) are a unit of length equal to one millionth of a metre (1 μm = 1/1000 mm = 10⁻⁶ m) and are commonly used to define filtration accuracy. The lower the micron rating, the finer the filtration level achieved. Therefore, a 5-micron filter provides finer filtration than a 20-micron filter.
